I used to live in Cali where the earthquakes would rock me to sleep....Why people are so scared of those, I'll never know. :D

EDIT: But as far as hurricanes, I'd love to sit in one for a few minutes to see what the hype is about.
it's not as great as you'd think, more of a pain in the ass really...the one i was in was charlie a few years back(couldnt get out of my g-rents driveway for a few days)

Dunno... Perhaps I find more humor in situations when I hear things aloud, and without noticing it I've taught my body to respond to reading something humorous by re-reading them aloud.
