Map editor works on your computer.  I have windows XP and it works for me.

I know that, but, how do i start a NEW map, it gives me a eror when i try, ill make a topi... no... well... i might a well, ask to delete the other(s).

Try editing from another map and SaveAs it as something else. I use Flatlands(By Aphtonites).
