Some point and click games are fun. The bad ones are the ones where you have to figure out some SPECIFIC way to do something when there are no hints as to how to do it or anything, and its usually something REALLY far out from what you would thing. These kill the game because usually you can never get past these sections without using a walkthrough.(example: "There's a door you can't enter but you have to. There's no key anywhere. solution? use the megaphone on the door and then use a wire you found hidden in some weird place that you would never find without the walkthrough. Opens right up. Its just common sense.)
Another bad type of these games are the ones that are extremely linear(see the above) and you have to do EVERYTHING a certain way, there are no alternate paths or anything. Offers no replay value what so ever.(this is a suffering throughout the entire genre, but its more apparent in some than it is in others)

The ones that can pull it off right are awesome, however.

The artwork and concept remind me of Oddworld: Abe's Odyssey a bit.

That was the first thought I had apon seeing this topic XD.

The melancholy artwork reminds me of Salad Fingers.

So did I, but as I grew up I realized how superior any other Genre is.

of course, thats all a matter of opinion
