he likes to keep stuff like that a secret, so players can giggle about it afterwards and spread rumours and make posts on forums :D
He didn't tell anybody about dye locations which meant players did not know what kinds existed or where to go. It took about 3 weeks before red dye was discovered after dyes were launched. Its much more fun this way
