Sorry about jailing you Ronin. I thought you were a certain someone in disguise. :| Hope it didn't upset you or anything. I felt so stupid. XD But I have to blame myself, I have my moments.

Well, farewell USSR. RIP

USSR was a great clan, I'm glad I had the chance to be apart of it.

Good Bye.

So long USSR, I've always admired you.

Wow. Never expected that.
RIP

First Maru, and now Zombie Stalin...

:panda:

I have to admit though, even as I first applied and entered USSR in the Fall of 2006, I had not really thought of it as a clan.  Not a clan in the usual sense that anyone skilled enough could join anyways.  We always seemed to have a general feel for people we liked and didn't like, and usually the clan ran better (internally, at least) when we avoided letting in people we didn't know very well.  Maybe those were the times when we were thought of as the biggest starfishs in the entirety of Blockland, but we never really lost the respect that many people had for our builds and our weird dysfunctional management.  I think that closing the clan now is really just finally admitting that we were never really open.

What news of the Afkpuz/Kazem/Facechild/Diggy/Alenth/??? building group?

You're 17 friggin' years too late, facechild.

Anyway, USSR was a cool clan that did awesome stuff. I'm sure you'll all do more awesome stuff in the near future, so good luck with that.

Well, this sucks.

Although yeah, to be fair, we've been trying to "relive the glory days" for a good year now.  It's been time for a while.  Hopefully some good will come out of this.

When I first joined USSR, I recall it being less about being the best, and more about having a server that wasn't filled entirely with handicaps.  This game is always about fun; including the time we spent with the goons, I don't think anyone's had more fun on blockland than us.

Whatever happens in the future, I'd just like to build and have some fun, fancy title or not.  The fantastic builds won't stop, the frienships won't stop, and I doubt the fun will stop either.  If anything, this is a new beginning.  I'm hopeful for the future, and I'll see you guys in-game!

We will keep you guys posted, again thanks to everyone that helped out the past 3 1/2 years or so!

Prepare for less USSR thread and more mass PM influx?

And so the mighty falls into a slumber so deep that it will never again rise from it.

As an ex-USSR member, I am sad to see the clan die. Many good times will be remembered and no other clan will ever make such a mark in the BL community ever again.

RIP USSR

You will be missed, USSR.
