Dear WBS,
I am sorry to say this, but WBS, I feel, is entering a time of stasis. With the quitting of Gen. Nick as a leader and an apathetic attitude of our hoster, I feel it is ill-conceived of me to continue leading you guys on in thinking that the clan is going to explode with activity in the near future.
One of the things that I never felt like we held well enough was constant clan-related excitement, and this is do in part to the fact that we couldn't get a really consistent server together, and this is my fault. Kynit did a great job hosting when he did and we had some great times, but I'm afraid it's time to stop looking here for a while.
I'm making no promises here, but I can still very well see us getting together and doing a build over a weekend sometime, like another Island build. I'll definitely let you guys know in advance so we can make a deal out of it- think of it a high school reunion except for the fact that hopefully none of us will be drunk burnouts.
So, this is a bittersweet goodbye, I guess. I haven't decided how much I'll be sticking around the Blockland community as a whole, as I've found other places to spend my time.
I hate to leave you guys behind, but I'm afraid when a good majority of the people that keep the clan ticking have certain apathetic attitudes, and this is primarily me, it's hard to keep the clan maintaining momentum. For this I apologize to everyone that really did love spending time in the clan.
So, thanks to everyone for being a kickass group of friends. It's been a crazy ride, and I hope that you guys will still be open to having fun later as what was WBS.
