Author Topic: Go to a server and say santa clause isn't real.  (Read 8941 times)

You guys are real richards if you do that. Kids are ment to believe in Santa, and if you ruin that for them, you ruin their childhood. Just because you found out early/never belived doesn't mean you have to ruin the fun for others. These are kids we are talking about, and anyone that tries to ruin their childhoods should get banned.

Santa Clause, The Easter Bunny, and the Tooth Fairy are all handicapped bullstuff that shouldn't be lied about to kids in the first place.

Little children, seeing as the are little and don't fully understand anything outside of their age, don't truely understand holidays. So, what parents did is that they created fictional characters and planted it in their minds, creating a message that they can understand.
I mean, really... What do you think childeren will most likely understand?
1. A fat guy in a red suit giving out presents?
or
2. The birth of the christian messiah that came to save the jews from their sins?

Yes, its all bullstuff, but we don't want to blow out their minds now do we?

All we have to do is say: Christmas is an excuse to spend money on others, pretend to be happy, and cover everything in excessive tacky lighting, tree parts, and little ceramic figurines so that we can distract ourselves from the things in life that would otherwise drive us insane.

Santa Claus is just a cover up for the birth of Jesus, Because little children wouldn't understand the birthing process. Goes to show that Christianity is one big communist regime that is cruel and replaces a rabbit who plants eggs to cover up a death of a prophet.

I agree with Doorman. It really doesn't hurt to play along as long as you know the difference.

If you tell them Santa isn't real, they will not believe you anyway. I've tried. It has to be revealed to them by their parents.

Which brings me to the question, how do I tell my sister? She will be twelve next years and my parents want me, yes me, to break the news to her. But the problem is that I actually love my sister, I don't like her, but I don't want to do anything too hurtful to her. And my parents believe that the blow will be less painfull when it is told by one of her siblings. And since I'm her only one, its up to me.

Lol, you actually took my quote to make a topic? :o
