me getting my captian pins at police explorers

#supersecretphotoshop

all of us lined up from right to left in order of rank. starting from head FTE to Corporal, Sergeant, then captain.
you're hot

The absolute lack of any expression on any of your faces absolutely terrifies me and is probably one of the major reasons I hate interacting with police officers.

shh shh, there there, we'll just tell the big mean cop to stop looking so grumpy  :iceCream:

anyone notice that grey man in the middle in the second picture
truly a handsome fellow

Really...

...yes? When a dude walks up to you looking serious as forget and questions what you're doing it's really uncomfortable even when you're doing nothing wrong. I don't see why they don't just smile, it's like they're taught that you do not ever smile while in uniform.

no offense but they're not really gonna go up to you as jolly as can be and go "HIYA STRANGER, MIND IF I ASK Y'ALL SOME IDDY BIDDY QUESTIONS?"

okay on a more serious-ish note they're supposed to be serious because they're loving law enforcers, you don't just joke around when you enforce the law

You can be nice when you enforce the law ya know

nah man serious bidness

forget the coppers

I didn't say they should crack jokes. If a cop approached me like "Hey, how are you doing? What are you guys up to?" rather than "What are you doing? Can I see some ID?" the entire experience would be much smoother. To get respect you give respect.

not all cops are like that. you shouldn't generalize all cops as being stoic and rude.

I've yet to experience just about any cops that approach in a friendly manner. I'm not close-minded about the issue, I don't automatically be a richard to officers who approach me without giving them a chance. But every police experience I've ever had except one was extremely unpleasant. Maybe cops by you are nicer, and that's fantastic for you, but around here they're richards.

took some girls to the dance downtown and then took the one on the right back to my apartment, was a good time
