Author Topic: The Mass Crash-Attack  (Read 3535 times)

I did get some RTB server errors yesterday (the forums wouldn't load, news list wasn't loading then suddenly appeared and messed up formatting) but it all seems to be fixed now.

Could it be V11? Could it be Badspot? COULD IT HAVE BEEN THE ROBLOX?
1. Look at blockland.us. If it's not there, it's not there. Closest we have is physics preview.
2. Either 1 or he wouldn't.
3. What the forget?

I didn't get auth. failed. Dunno, Ephi and I were talking about it when someone brought it up in Badspot's.

The RTB errors are related to the RTB webserver gently dying. I did some hacky install of some webservices many years ago and they seem to be crashing now, and outputting 20mb core dumps (bad error logs) around the place, which is causing lots of 500 internal errors and slow page loads. I've recently acquired a new RTB server and I'm just working on the new forums and download system we'll be using, but this is pretty time consuming.

Weird, didn't happen to me?

I was on BL all day and it didn't crash, or lag at all

some idiot tripped over the cord for the server.
.....and spilled coffee all over it.

.......and blowed it up

Badspot unplugged it, and plugged it back in as a prank.

It would be funny if an error saying "Haha: Your key has been deactivated" appeared.
He could do it at april fools 2009

"Your key has been temporarily suspended. This will be in effect until April 31.

Badspot unplugged it, and plugged it back in as a prank.
I don't think that would make a differnce

Just checked the auto-updater. No V11.
