It's kind of like be over confident about your work. It pretty much is, actually. More often than not, the watermark just ruins the art. By the way, what is the triangle supposed to be? --- End quote --- Even if they aren't the best sprites, he still has the right to protect his work. It's very possible that some noob who can't sprite for stuff will just take them regardless of how good they look. (I actually thought the sprites weren't that bad.) |

(I actually thought the sprites weren't that bad.) --- End quote --- This is exactly the reason. I don't want some bitch stealing my sprites when I spent my time working on them. I'm not ridiculously confident in them, I just want to keep them as my own. --- Quote from: Spenny on January 12, 2009, 09:30:10 PM ---i like the watermarks. It's like you think somebody is actually going to take these. --- End quote --- Where you always such a sarcastic jerk, or did someone just recently stick a pike in your ass? --- Quote from: TheWorm on January 12, 2009, 09:41:08 PM ---I'm going to take Spenny's side. I take Worm and Spenny's side to be honest. If I make art, I don't think putting watermarks on work is really important, unless I were selling it. Other than that, it's not like your art is going to copied for anything important, and then if it is used for something popular, you'll know about it and can get a good lawyer if need be. |
