into the "Target" section, then click "Apply".

Did you try the shortcut or what the shortcut goes to?

1/2.  Right-click desktop.
3/4.  Put cursor over "New".
1.  Wizard should pop up.
2.  Paste:

%windir%\system32\Shutdown.exe -s -t 2000 -c "You have been restricted from playing this game due to attempted hacking of it.  Your system will be shut down promtly"

into the "Target" section when told to.
5.  Right-click new shortcut and click the "Properties" button.
6.  Click "Change Icon", click ok if an error is shown.
7.  Click "Browse".
8.  Go to Maple Story's folder in the program files folder.
9.  Double-click anything that has the same icon as the desktop shortcut.
10.  Apply icon and stuff.
10-1/2.  Delete old shortcut, rename new one.
11.  ????
12.  Profit!

Yes will work, but make sure you create the one that is already on the desktop.
