im still waiting for someone to make a good "SET" of weapons i can use in a dm. all balanced to each other just right.
theres more to a gun then its own ability. a DM is only fun if you can do just as well with any type of weapon, depending on your own taste.

thus the balance.
machine guns shoot fast, but maybe be weak and inaccurate.
rockets shoot slowly, accurately, instant kills
handgun is accurate, fast, and weak
any hand to hand weapon is of course instant kill

but i cant get a good balance by downloading any 2 weapons made by any 2 different people.

i demand a proper weapon set!

Bisjac, i agree completely; someone needs to make a realistic weapon in the sense that a pistol cannot be stronger than a sniper, but be unique in looks and other such apperendi without having too many polygons.

Uhh... The reason I made Dual Stingers cover some part of your screen to balance your sight. Much power if I try to widen the view then? Its better to balance damage from just seeing the whole view, with greater widening the view, I think its too overpowering. Besides, it makes you use it only when needed.

I think when someone first decides to try modding Blockland, a weapon is the most obvious and simple thing to make since all you need to do is change a color, the damage, and maybe the uiname/datablock names if they were feeling particularly adventurous. In a community filled with stupid kids who's only motivation to make add-ons is to be "famous" you can't really expect amazing things from them, they just crank stuff out and throw it at you since quantity Annoying Oranges quality in the blockland add-on world at the moment.

That weapon has the smallest and crappiest radius damage for an explosive-based weapon ever.

This thread is why I absolutely hate making weapons, they are fiddly things you have to play with for ages to balance it out in DM. Not worth the time seeing as I hate BL Death matches in the first place.

To correct you, its not a weapon pack. Its a content pack. I'm not just making add-ons for just bragging, "fame", nor respect. I just want to make new things, that in what I learn everyday, I make the most fun out of it. Though although not all I did was perfect, I can still learn from it. I'll look back into these days when I was insulted, and think I learned alot from it

I make my content to the best on what I already know. I know they are not pleasing for everybody, but I can still do what I want and I know that at least some people enjoy it.
