When ever i press stop the flood keeps happening. even when i change maps.

Does it say "The flood has ended!" in the chat when you press it?

I followed your instructions:
Find water
Stretch Water
(Adjusted sliders)
Start flood

...Nothing!

It will only work on maps that have water(i.e slopes)
