Do you want me to post my settings?

autoexec.cfg

--- Code: ---r_lod 0
jpeg_quality 100
r_flashlightrepthres 4096
mat_depthbias_shadowmap 0.00009
mat_slopescaledepthbias_shadowmap 0
r_projectedtexture_filter 0.35
mat_motion_blur_forward_enabled 1
cl_jiggle_bone_framerate_cutoff 1
mat_picmip -10
cl_burninggibs 1
cl_detaildist 4096
--- End code ---

And pretty much the same settings for both the laptop and the Vista computer

I do use the Bloom post-processing effect a most of the time though, as well as Color Mod
_Dark_:
I can see my field of view is quite low. I only fooled around with FX twice so I guess I'll have to experiment.
Masterlegodude:
Used gm_snowstruct2 just because i was testing using Portal 2's values for some of the dynamic shadow commands, however, it'll never be the same since the dynamic lighting was changed on Portal 2's version of the engine

_Dark_:
Since when was it changed? Also
Why are they making me cover them up here? They know I hate heights, this is what I get for being one of the only snipers. I swear there messing with me.

Great....

Yea I still fail to get that effect I'm gonna post my settings in a minute.

Edit
Masterlegodude:
Your texture quality is on High, though setting it to Very High (if you can) will have little to no effect

The Team Fortress 2 characters look better for me because i use a high quality texture pack that is still in the works (i think)

I actually haven't done a pose with non-TF2 characters in quite a while, but the Team Fortress 2 characters are more photogenic (to me at least), so i'll try doing some Half Life 2 character pictures
