I listen to a lot of metal and rock (stuff like tool and dream theater) when I'm in the mood for some kick ass drumming, but I also like to play jazz. And I also listen to classical and Jazz when I want to listen to some Sax.

I can listen to almost any music as long as there is some skill behind it, vocally, musically ect ect.
