It could actually be a semi-easy job to give a minifig with a ragged shirt decal green stuff pustules and suspenders. Besides, splicers aren't really zombies, they're just terribly mutated people who have gone entirely insane and now have some weird genetic powers and stuff.

I was reading through one of my Lego magazines and I took a look in the "Cool Creations" section.All I saw was crap and nothing cool at all.Same for the other twelve magazines I have with me.Seems like the newer the magazine the crappier the cool creations get.Im dissapoint.
