Those colors aren't bright enough to appeal to children and the regular smiley face ":)" isn't flashy enough to appeal to even younger children. Also their chest decals are too boring for children. They don't have any shiny gold/silver/sparkle paint like the ones the new lego knights have. Oh and last detail, there isn't any new fancy more rounder edged special bricks in any of these older sets. The look of those alone makes the set look nicer to younger children.

Brown is bright enough but the rainbow isn't? Okay?
Chrome stuff is shinier than sparkle paint or whatever.
Does rounder bricks mean round bricks? In case it does; we've had round bricks for a while.

The crown and the sword isn't enough. Now if it were shiny/sparkly on the armor or various other pieces then it would be enough.
By more rounded edge bricks I mean this crap.
