It's super easy and it cleans up nicely to.

I recommend trying to learn it.

ok first we have this

and then..

and those lines on top are the faces in the model

and you can do this to all the extra faces

Well, do you usually start by building off the block or creating an entirely new one?

I can show you some basics but that's it.
