Thank you for that. :)

omg i lost interest in this topic somehow :( i'll see you guys when i get it back

Anyone hungry?

Which is the best cheese wheel? Suggestions for more bricks? All bricks are below 100 quads. Blender internal render is a funny guy and renders only triangles which are not visible in Blockland.

Everything looks overly flatshaded, also, the second cheese wheel is the best one.

Partial smoothshaded cheesewheel (leftmost one) looks best IMHO. You should do the actual brick of the cheesewheel as quarter and eighth bricks - like wedges set up in such a way as to be able to be placed into the cheesewheel.

When you release those you should include the actual models and maybe item icons of them (with and without the semitransparent circle background) in the zip for modders to use in their projects.

Oh, and might I suggest smoothshading the vertical strips of the apple? I'm not sure how it'd look but I'd like to see

I can really only do quarters since eighths would require two bricks to be inside one another.

I don't see a reason why but I don't have anything against giving away my models if people (who could actually do something with them) specifically ask me for them.

Figures the vertical one would look bad. The fully smoothshaded one looks great, though.

The idea of including the models with the bricks is that if someone wants to use them they're easily accessible. Nothing beats a resource that's already there, especially if a lot of players will already have it downloaded.
