i honestly have no idea what that's supposed to represent, no offense. what is it, exactly?

It looks like an iridian weapon from the first Borderlands.

It would be nice to have some sense of scale in the scene as well, can't tell if its meant to be a rifle, or pistol, or something else.

Where does the blockheads hand go?

Its actually a spaceship

My very slow side project that I work on when I have nothing else to do.

Where does the blockheads hand go?
I've still got a lot of changes to make, including adding a handle. It'll be somewhere in that circular area in the back.

Here...

Here it is relative to a brick, the player, and to the other laser weapons and default rocket launcher. This is the old version of the weapon, but it's still about the same size overall, maybe just a tad bigger.

I'm disappointed in seeing the same things modeled over and over.

I called it before I came here though:
Cars and weapons.

Why such limits.

That's the standards set on blockland. Vehicles and Guns.

Well this is just a 3D models topic, it doesn't necessarily have to be FOR the game...

But yeah there is a disproportionate amount of weapons and vehicles compared to everything else. Probably has something to do with how much effort it takes to make a player model compared to a simple mechanical structure like a gun or car.

What about comical stuff? Like a rubber chicken weapon, a bath tub vehicle, silly things like those

The vehicles still amaze me, but the weapons i feel have become repetitive, boring, based on actual weapons, or so high poly or detailed that they look super busy from certain distances

wip

The drawing isn't mine i'm just using it as a reference.

how do you use an image like that as a reference for a model like that? like, not saying you shouldn't or anything. I'm legitimately curious
