first detail pass changing some parts as well as elaborating on the engine more next time.

i want to clean it so bad holy forget







I added dust but it doesn't really come through it just makes the render look like I rendered it at lower samples.

I'll be modeling the Toyota AE86 next

whats that thing where you smooth shade a certain part of the model (and it doesnt look like poo poo) and how do you do it

select faces to smoothshade, separate them with Y
generally do that when you're all done with your geometry or it can be a pain to work with

What. Why would you not use the Edge Split modifier?

exporting is just going to it anyway, modifiers are way out of the way so i've never felt the need to bother with anything more than mirroring
