can someone give me some quick help on "weapon anatomy" and "how to make your guns look cool" or "futurustic" or "realistic" because all i can make is this

guns have a grip, a longish body depending on whether its a rifle, and a muzzle. stocks are optional but make the gun look bigger and more powerful. forestocks make the gun look accurate and somewhat bulky.
if you want to make a futuristic looking gun, take a normal or old gun and add stuff to it.
all george lucas did was add a cool looking scope and a forestock and instantly you have a futuristic gun
