OK, just a bit of constructive criticism on the model, 1: its full of holes, when you make something try to make it, "watertight". 2: Not every cylinder needs to have 32 edges, mine only have 16. And finally 3: you have many inside-out normals, you can fix this by clicking show normals, then flip the ones that show inside out. Rearange normals to outside, doesn't always work, but you did do a good job on everything else.

This was my first project in Blender, so I imagine there would be a lot of bad practice stuff like the things you said.
