Any resource on how to create a gun barrel?  I mean, obviously you make a cylinder, but how goes the hollowing part?

It took me several tries to get it.

I suggest you save the barrel and reuse it if you are ever making more than one gun.

Using blender.  But I might have figured something out here.

Meh, my first attempt at a rifle was a mess anyway.


Also, could anyone tell me why my models won't animate in first person?  I made a sword replacement model just to try and get something in-game and it won't swing in FP.

In the script set the eyeoffset to 0 0 0

I simply replaced the sword model in the add-ons folder, though.

Also, any reason for this weird faintly outlined shadow instead of a full shadow?

He said progress would be slow due to it now being more work than fun for him.

To fix the shadow, when you export in blender, make sure Triangle strips is checked.

I simply replaced the sword model in the add-ons folder, though.

Something non related to fix it,could i have a look of the model in-game?Either when spawning or take a pic of it with admin ball

still sucking with blender although i find this extremely fun. i hope to be a good modeler some day. i'm going to make a nice model and ask spock to be a clan modeler.
