i'm new to 3d modeling but after messing around for a couple of hours I started work on a 1987 BMW E36 for Blockland. This is all i have so far. I'm happy :3

Very nice for a first car model! I can't wait to see how it turns out!

I have noticed a few things though. The pillars seem to be upright, whereas they are slanted IRL, but that should be an easy fix.

Not discouraging you from making this, by I figure I should let you know I already made and released an almost identical BMW (not that exact model, but very similar).

Keep it up though if that doesn't bother you, I'd love to see it finished! :)

I really want to make a workshop item for tf2 so i atleast have something in my workshop tab, and Heres a (very) rough model for a derringer flare gun for pyro:

here's the wireframe if you're interested

If anyone knows how to export this to tf2 when it's done or knows a good tutorial on how to, please pm it.

stuff. it keeps doing that. I'm trying to see if i have selected any extra edges :| might as well restart, i did this a couple months back and picking it up now i completely lost my vision on what i was going to do with it.

edit: maybe i could do an 86 trueno like on initial D? idk. any cars/whatevers anyone wanna suggest for a beginner?

also i was planning on doing a "modded" gun from blockland (extended clip, grip, handicapped acog scope) for stuffs and giggles, how do i get the model from BL into maya?

good start

most of the non-stock TF2 weapons have a semi-crude, makeshift look to them; try adding some tape, bolts, etc etc to it

as for getting it ingame, good loving luck, blenders MDL tools gave me nothing but stuff when I tried to get a model ingame

I REALLY need a 2x2x1 brick that you can stack to make a pillar like this:

Also, could it be cut in half to put it next to a wall? like this one:

Please, I really need it.
