more polys are bad for low end PCs

Your PC has to be pretty stuff if you cant run blockland with a "high" poly count
because usually they arent even that high.

Literally anything thats from 2008 or older should be able to.

you can safely make items with 1000 tris or some more

on drendran's farming server, the crop bricks are individually like 500-1000 tris and people wouldnt have too much problem with more than 100 or so in render distance

It also adds a longer loading time, I might eventually but I'm not sure yet

i guess its entirely up to you, but you should know dts models file size wouldnt be significantly impacted with like 100 extra tris I believe. I'll leave you alone now lol

all the file sizes are like 70kb or less for static models anyways

Apparently the limit for vertices in .dts format is 65535.

i threw this together quickly

damn brother strappin with the nines

just got into rigging

works like a charm

idk some type of futuristic thing
suggestions?

that looks pretty good so far, but i suggest you use a few more colors (shades of gray) to separate the body into smaller sections. for example, that little thing sticking out of the back near the top could use a darker shade to distinguish it from the body

also the sphere in the muzzle looks a bit too detailed. i'd either suggest flatshading it or making it less polies
