I actually do think people have been getting mean, mostly to the newer/less popular members. Also an older, more popular member could get away doing something a newb would get flamed

People are being mean just for the fun of it too, even to people who aren't so bad.

As more idiots come in the older members have to push harder to hold them back and end up mass categorizing everyone. At that stage the newer members start picking up the behavior and eventually everyone insults everyone.

People are being mean just for the fun of it too, even to people who aren't so bad.

Its spreading like a disease. New member joins. Gets flamed like crazy. Turns into an ass hole and flames other new people. This will repeat over and over as long as this forum has douche bags, and I doubt it would ever straighten out.

Yeah, bandwagon gets annoying too. I'm sure if someone gets flamed by someone famous, everyone else will flame the person the famous person flamed.

One big problem. 90% of the older members were asses to begin with. having us change is like getting my colorblind ass to accept that my old shirt is blue when it is quite clearly black.

True, but sometimes I look in the Add-Ons section and see people get flamed just because someone doesn't like it. They say stuff like, "This weapon sucks. You suck. Go die in a hospital...." instead of just saying, "This really isn't useful."

Of course the person who made it would be disappointed that someone didn't like it, but at least he didn't get flamed.

Yes, and lots of times people don't even say why it 'sucks', so the creator dons't know what needs to be improved
