Because whether it's a phone feature or a pc feature, it's still internet related and google is an internet search engine.
I'll have to slightly reedit my statement. Whether from a cell phone or from a PC forums are centered on servers on the internet so it doesn't matter where you post from, it ends up on the internet and can be found by Google.
As for how it shows up, that's what I'm sure you were referring to. Formatted to be viewable on crappy cell phones that can't handle full page features. (those poor saps)
