What if BS extended the number of colors in a colorset? Because IMO, 64 colors should be more, like, so you could do alot.

That would be nice, although I don't think we actually need more than 64 colors although I cannot speak for the opinions of the developers.

I could have used one more row to my colorset. 64 is a lot, but another row wouldn't be bad.

Transmitting the colour IDs takes six bits per brick, 26 = 64.
Anything more would make this seven, so you could have up to 128 colors, but this might not be good for transmitting huge builds across the network. (1/7th more delay in large loads)

Even so, that would mean an extra 256 or so datablocks as each colour currently needs a separate weapon image, paint spray, droplet effect, explosion effect, particle and explosion datablock.
