I think badspot should remove the "Namehere's <server name>" Its really annoying.

I found that giving out the saves and letting people host the DM on their own is a good way to curve this.

I did that with my MGS2 VR Mission DM and people gave me credit upfront. That was back when build stealing seemed rampant.

You worked incredibly hard on this build. I went to Pyscho's build to check on it and they screwed stuff up.
You know the two top towers? That's where you spawned and you spawned with a rifle. That's it. It's a complete disgrace to this awesome build.

I have worked hard on this build, and would hate to see it trashed by noobs who can't build anything themselves.

Duckmeister I am no noob. I am friends with a lot of respected players, and some people respect me also. I may not be the builder of the century or anything (I'm only good at terrain builds). But that doesn't matter, I can build great terrains if I set my mind to it. Psycho Out.

Anyway, it's a bit like this scenario:

Let's say you spend years building a very nice car. You worked very hard on it. All of the sudden, you come home and the car's missing from your driveway. You then see your car pulling up behind you. A stranger steps out and says "Oh, so this car's yours? I borrowed it to pick up my kids from school."

Of coarse, you'd probably be furious with some random douche taking your baby out for a drive with his disgusting kids, right?

This is not build theft, this is one kid who saw a build he liked and wanted to change the bits he didn't like. I haven't seen a single example where he claimed it as his own.

Seriously, if you don't like people using your builds then don't make them in the first place because people will always borrow your stuff. If I flipped out and cried every time someone borrowed some of my code and didn't credit me, The entire first page of Drama would be taken up by my crap. Stop being so pathetic.

This is a Sandbox Game. The whole idea of the client saving system is so people can go around saving and loading whatever they want wherever they want to. The fact that he's hosting your build doesn't mean its going to "dent your profit margins" or anything, you're just crying because you wanted all the e-appreciation. Maybe in your next build put a huge sign in the middle saying "BUILT BY DUCKMASTER MY BL ID IS XXXXX" to solve any confusions.
