I think the problem is I need to somehow enable ports on my aliant modem, since it looks like it's a router/modem for some arbitrarily stupid reason. It's strange because there is no option to do so when I connect to it, just Status, Info, and some other tab that gives me more info. I tried DMZ just for fun and I still can't host with that, tried Hamachi, again no dice. Pretty sure it's the modem now. |

I have the same wifi modem sitting in front of me and it worked while I was able to host. So i dont know. |
