computer type and security program might tell us how to help ya
with mcafee you need to go to:
internet and network
advanced firewall
prog permission
find blockland and allow full access then try(if you have mcafee)

i would hard reset that thing and use standard firmware

I use the same modem, I don't see why there would be a problem. It worked for me.

DHCP sets it up so new IPs are generated when you connect to it. This might be continually changing your IP away from whichever one you are setting it to forward ports to.
