Can anybody help me with recording in-game sound ?

Under the Movies tab, you have to specify the sound input, and to record games you have to have Record Sound enabled.

It is.

Did you make sure you applyed it, or whatever

It's The sound input is set default as your microphone jack. You need to figure out how to set it as the computer's speakers, I'm not sure how.

For Vista, It's Vista Direct Stream (or something similar)

What if i only needed 30 seconds?
Just give me a god damn answer

I had the same problem i while ago.
I went into my computers sound mixer and changed "recording control" from microphone to stereo mix.
Then on fraps i chose "stereo mix" for sound.
Edit: I have an IDT sound card so i had to update the drivers to get to the sound settings
