Sims 3

Alright so, I need help here.
I have a new brand spadanking new computer, Windows Vista Home Premium (64)
Intel Core Two Quad
4.00 mb of RAM
and an ATI XFX Graphics Card.
One hard drive, 931 GB.

But yet, I cannot play the Sims 3 on anything above low quality settings, and even then its laggy.
Anyone know what the problem could be and how i can fix it?

I felt like bumping this so we can talk about all the things that are bad about Sims 3.

We cant make our own neighbor hoods.

Cant have more than 1 Household at a time.

Instead of expansion packs, we now have to buy everything from their crappy online store which in the long run costs more to the consumer....and no hot tubs default in inventory? WTF?

They forgot to code those, along with Pianos.

So they say. I tend not to believe them because I know hot tubs are rather popular items and they know people would pay to have them in the game. So when they do put in hot tubs, guess where it'll be? Yup, up for purchase instead of just giving it to us for free out of their so-called mistake.

Their packages, Just move them out of the mod folder

Getting my dads pro-sauce computer to play sims 3 on now, since mine is stuff and he has like 4 computers. :D
