Nothing yet, but I'll make one .dsq for looking up and down and another for turning arround.
The base would be separate and the actual turret part would be mounted to it.
If possible.

I was thinking of having the base as a vehicle with large righting forces to stay upright but perhaps be moved around by the Gravity Gun/etc. and then the turret mounted onto it and looking around like the Tank.

Sounds good.
Space Guy:
It might be a little hard to get a smooth deploy/upgrade animation if it's in two parts, though.
Since while it's upgrading it can't look around or shoot, remove the turret during this time and have the entire animation on the vehicle? (then place "L2 Turret" back on)
