personal computer was a term referring to a computer in your house. thats not used to launch nukes or make science like computers were designed to be for initially. apple peeps were the ones that decided to claim independence from "PC" as a marketing scheme. To convince people to break the mold and hopefully convince them that there was a new wave of home computing; even though it was essentially the same thing. So mac people cant come around now and call the windows users stupid for not calling mac's PCs. it was mac's idea and it obviously was a bad one down the line. |
