Make a rifle with an "inside the scope" image for zooming, like most games do.
Also make the zoom always like 5x or so, just constant and non changeable.

How about a grenade that fires shrapnel projectiles upon explosion instead of a radius of "Kill you".
That way you couldn't throw it at the side of a building and kill everyone on the first floor.
