As a device I can just plug into a DVI port that records the output? Fraps puts preformance down, so I was wondering if there was something that did this. I know there are capture cards, but I want this.

Edit: The GTX 285 on my new rigg I'm building has 2 DVI ports, one for my monitor and an extra. I was just thinking this as an Idea and posted it since paragraphs don't usually get results on google.

Edit #2: well, DVR but...

you could use the low-def out and record to a dvd recorder or a DV camera.
