Hopefully they add more colorful biomes. The clay biome was a step in the right direction. |

It looks like AMIDST, although I spoke to the developer and he says Jeb could have remade his setup. He also says AMIDST has been open source, so Jeb could have modified from that, but in any case it doesn't matter to him. --- Quote from: Kingdaro on August 06, 2013, 07:05:31 PM ---Are those rivers separating biomes? Damn, son. They look like they would make good nation borders. --- End quote --- That has been in Minecraft for a while now. Rivers are their own biomes and can both cross through biomes and make up their edges depending on generation. --- Quote from: HellHound on August 06, 2013, 07:42:38 PM ---Some of them don't even look like they even arrive at the ocean or a lake. --- End quote --- They never had, likely since the complexity of assuring such attributes might be problematic and impossible in some cases, preventing them for large areas players may wish to witness them. We don't need real world logic. |

They need to change the biome generation so that jungles and taigas do not spawn right next to deserts. That is the one thing that's been bothering me. |

I'm sure that's one thing they are addressing, since they are centralizing the update on biome generation. If they spread out working on biomes, they'd get in a lot more trouble. This is only the beginning on the update, too. Also, Jeb showed a new biome: Naturally spawning surface mossy cobblestone without being part of rarer generated structures. Oh boy. |

Oh My God Brown leafy grass thing :o I like the way that this is going. |
