a paradox is where something contradicts itself at the same time as proving itself. aka- Schrodinger's cat, as well as going back in time and killing your grandfather.

there are thousands of different christian churches, there is not just one description that everyone has to follow, however, catholic is different.

Nitpicking, are we? I can say hetero Marriage forgets up many things. Weddings waste alot of money, do they not? Isn't that bad for America's economy?

A paradox is something that contradicts itself. It doesn't need to prove itself at the same time.
First definition I found on google:
(logic) a statement that contradicts itself; "`I always lie' is a paradox because if it is true it must be false"
That is what the bible does.
