And throught the economy, everything travels in cycles, it is inevitable that the US will lose its standing as the economic leader of the world. Stopping all foriegn trade is probably the stupidist move anyome could make. I forgot the exact percentage but foriegn trade accounts for maybe 25% of all US transactions. Cutting all that out.. well just look at every item in your room that says "made in china" or taiwan or anything. Also look at all those items that use things from other contries, say a poster is made in the US but the ink on it is from India. |
