So the urge to have children that way YOUR GENETICS CAN LIVE ON is nonexistent?
All species have the urge to pass on their genes and help their species survive, it's the organism's mechanism to prevent itself from giving up and dying.
If there was a marriage and you think it shouldn't be/happen. What do you do? You speak up at the altar or you gossip about it to friends until you don't care about it anymore.
And you're right about third thing.

Just because you deny it, does not mean that it is not there. Your subconscious screams out to you saying "Listen to me! Why are you suppressing me?" and causes many different negative emotions, like depression (I'm not saying this is the only cause for depression, but it's one of them).
