Opinions are a statement of personal preference.  Of course I disagree with you but I can prove no more than you can that either is right or wrong.

--- Quote from: Lalam24 on May 31, 2009, 12:45:42 AM ---He said "Opinions."  Which would refer to all opinions, not just yours.

This still implies that some opinions are better than others.

I'm crazy, but yet you believe a report because it has a large number of pages.

The Bible has a rather large amount of pages, does this mean it's true?

because they finally realized the classic "because god said so" horsestuff didn't fly, post 1900s

Or you could know how to differentiate between an opinion and a proven fact.  Aside from that, some religious people still follow a creationist logic circluar reasoning method of "proving" their "facts."

The difference, however, is that what you believe is right affects the freedom of homoloveuals, and what we think is right is trying to stop that. Sure your opinion can be whatever you want it to be, but that opinion shouldn't affect the lives of others the way it does now. Such as open hate and lack of freedom.

Not necessarily saying you do that, but in general, intolerance leads to this. I'd like to ask, when has intolerance ever been the right thing in this world?

No, it doesn't.  He merely stated that opinions aren't good examples.  Are you stupid, or something?
