150 damage and over=gib.

I'm saying that's how it is in classic games.

If you die from, say, a tiny bullet hitting you do you just explode into a huge cloud of blood and gore?

You know, it's realistic!

Go away. It's in v1. It's not perfect yet.

It's hilarious either way. It's like in Fallout 3 with that "Ridiculous blood and gore" perk which causes people to explode when you hit them with a police baton

You bet. I might do something about it in v2.

You could do something with current health and damage from the weapon to determine whether the dude explodes, then the impulse force of the weapon to determine the gore debris velocity or something like that. Just a small suggestion.

I think its too bloody

I loving love this.  I think its your best add-on Amade, keep it up :D

this+OSR headshot=too much epicness

You should come up with an algorithm that sets the density of the particles accordingly to the amount of damage taken. Other than that, I like it. Did I ever tell you I had the same idea for this? I said we could make the debris the parts of the bodies hit, and then hide those nodes. I hope it gets where you get shot, and then that part of the body gets shot off. Do that in v2

Oh god the lag of creating... up to 15 player-shaped debris.
I dunno about basing the splosion off of damage, I'd say impulse force, but I have no idea how to get the projectile from the damagetype. The args for on death are the player, where it happened, the node (which is always body), and the damage type, none of which are helpful.

EEEWWWWWW.......sweet
