I believe so, if I was using projectiles or physics vehicles (all of these shapes have collision... I need to figure that out).

That's why you allways see the ESRB notice: Game experience may change during online play.

Ah. I agree, and that's only the pain high emitter which only triggers if you've lost over half your health. Realistically, if you were hit by something that half-killed you, you're not going to be able to react well for at least a second.
