Speaker Halp! [FIXED]

Ok, so right now, Windows 7 is the only OS on my PC (long story), and I have simple green audio jack speakers, when I plug them in, I get nothing. Why is this?I dont think they show up in device manager.

Two Toasts: um, at least tell me what kind of speakers these are. They have an audio jack that is green. What are these called?

Sound drivers installed? You get them from your sound cards manufacturing site.
