Hypocracy and Hypocrates.
Mateo:
Knowing the other side of an argument is always good, it doesn't mean you should experience the other side of said argument.
Chippy:
I would say that someone who smokes and tells others not to smake because it is bad, is not a hypocrite. A person who smokes and says that people who smoke are stupid are hypocrites.
All of us:
also, people can give advice from experience (ie drug addict), in my opinion
Jsk2003:
Hypocrisy is okay as long as that the person is giving good advice and isn't telling someone else off.
Like 'All of us' said about drug addicts, warning others about it, et cetera.
Also what if you learn something new, and change your mind? I would rather want to hear from someone that is open minded and will admit to being wrong then someone that will never change his mind, stick to his word that could be wrong, for fear that someone might think he doesn't know what he's talking about. (Really, who does know what they're talking about?)

Some doctors prescribe smoking, both marijuana and nicotine
--- End quote ---
what? no doctor in the right mind would prescribe smoking, all they did was make marijuana legal for people with cancer or AIDS who are going to die. they don't prescribe it, they make it an option. but if i had cancer and was going to die, i wouldn't. it'd shorten your life anyway.
