How did you port it? Just put the script in the zip, add description, and had it write to a bloxel folder?

I edited the script a little to show some confirm messages and only work while you are hosting. (the game crashes if you try it in a different server)

Currently I have it write the files to config/client/BloxelExports, and have the executable file in there.

Ah, just release it how it is now, I think Badspot would be fine with it.

Just wondering but is there a way to export this stuff as .vxl?

Bloxel.zip

Extract the file to your main Blockland folder.
While hosting your own server, open the console and type PixelExport();.
Go to config/client/BloxelExports and run either of the two batch files.
Enjoy the images.

Rename PixelCrap.txt (don't blame me, I didn't name it) to save the exported files without having to re-export them again. Included is the export file for Beta City.

All credits to Badspot.

I'm not going to post it in Add-Ons since it isn't really a proper Add-On and has strange installation methods.

The link leads to a blank page for me. :c

This is what I'm thinking.

1. Extract Bloxel.zip to C:\*path File*\Blockland
2. Go onto my own server and type "PixelExport();" into my cmd/console
3. I create a folder called BloxelExports in my config folder

Am I right?

Download are attached to blank page...
For google chrome that is :3

Extracting the zip file puts Script_PixelExport in Add-Ons (the exporter/client script) and bloxelRender.exe and well as the batch files to use it in config/client/BloxelExports.

1. Extract Bloxel.zip to C:\*path File*\Blockland
2. Go to your own server and load a build
3. Type "PixelExport();" into my cmd/console
4. Go to config/client/BloxelExports and run either CreateBloxelArt.bat or CreateBloxelArt_4Views.bat.
5. Wait a bit
6. Open and look at out.png/out_d[0-3].png

I was putting my Oasis DM through, I looked at the 4-way, it was the same thing happening.

O_o

Is it suppose to show up on your add-on folder?

Add-ons or just the main BL folder?

edit: ok you have to OPEN the Poxel.zip

Thats really cool.

edit: Is it meant to make most of my bricks invisible?
