Screen Resolution Problems After OS XP-98 Downgrade
DSi:
After reciving a hal.dll error on XP. i formatted and installed windows 98. SE.
Now it only gives me lowest screen resolution and 16 colors (or 2).
Heres Some Specs on my PC:
* Dell Cimension 3000
* Originally Running XP
* Currently Running 98
* Drivers Not Detected
* Intel

Two things wrong here:
1) stop downgrading.

Hal .dll gone for good im running win 98 SE, i dont have XP anymore, cause i dont wanna pay 300 dollars for a few games and MS Word lol,, but i had a 98 CD laying around

Anyway, you need the Win 98 display drivers for your graphics card.
Or, you need to get back to XP.

Still, even if you are missing Hal9000.dll, you could have found it on the internet. You could even ask a friend to borrow his XP disk.
