Being classed as a 'Pandemic' simply means, that it has crossed across so many-countries. (I also think that it's at Pandemic Level 6, which means Human-to-Human spreading, although, i don't know if that's specifically correct. I don't really understand all of their classifications) I'll start worreing when it gets to a stage similar to the 'Plague, or Spanish Flu' Then, we can have some fun :D   Also, what with cold and Flu's you can say by to the Old People, this Winter :P

Wiki:

--- Quote ---A pandemic (from Greek παν pan all + δήμος demos people) is an epidemic of infectious disease that spreads through populations across a large region; for instance a continent, or even worldwide.

--- Quote ---According to the World Health Organization (WHO), a pandemic can start when three conditions have been met:[1]

Emergence of a disease new to a population.
Agents infect humans, causing serious illness.
Agents spread easily and sustainably among humans.
A disease or condition is not a pandemic merely because it is widespread or kills many people; it must also be infectious. For instance, cancer is responsible for many deaths but is not considered a pandemic, because the disease is not infectious or contagious.

I'm no where near afraid of this outbreak.  Only two men in Pennsylvania have had the swine flu.  It's really nothing t obe afraid about anywhere, really.  It's just as just as weak as the basic flu.

Ah, Yes, that does just back up my point. Being a Pandemic meens nothing about how it can kill, just that it has spread over certain distances, infected humans, and can cause severe illness.

cool-cat:

Dont worry only mexicans have died from it (no sarcasm) thats because they have a horrible medical supplies. We declared a pendemic like this nearly 40 years ago the virus didnt kill a soul, we killed 3 people accidentally with failed vaccines, dont worry you'll only take a risk if you take the vaccine.
It's A LIE
